Playin with BIG rubber!
Hey, now. Im referring to our new toys… GIANT TIRES! Just got em in at FTP and thought we would incorporate them into our WOD today… and it worked great! Challenging to flip, they worked perfectly into our team WOD structure today. Here is what we did:
Teams of 3 (or 4) were challenged with this routine:
4 Rounds of:
250 meter ROW
25 x WALL BALL
25 x BURPEES
(for one class we added 25 x SDHP due to team size)
and, as a team, 25 x TIRE FLIPS!
At the same time, each team member completes his/her exercise, and then rotated through the three movements untile ach team member has completed the ROW, WALL BALLS and BURPEES. After that is done, as a team they must accumuate 25 x TIRE FLIPS. Complete this 4 times (for time) and voila! Some wiped out Crossfitters!
Also…. CONGRATS to “P.E. Pegi” for getting her first official PULL-UP today! And she nailed it 5 times after that too! You have worked so hard at these, Pegi, and we are proud of you! Who will be next??
BAD camera work, Pegi. Sorry bout that. But your pull-ups were legit! GREAT JOB!!
